RAS hosts auctions at both its monthly meetings and at larger Spring/Fall Events. Monthly auctions are only available to current RAS members (as per Membership & Renewal). The larger events are open to the public and anyone can participate.
Participants can bid on and purchase items, and they can bring in their own items for auction. Auctions are a good way to find interesting and unusual fish, plants, shrimp and snails, as well as aquarium-related items (live foods, bags, etc.).
To participate (as a buyer or seller), individuals must have an account and be registered on the mygroupauctions.com site. More information on navigating MyGroupAuctions can be found here.
Once registered, you can use MyGroupAuctions to see upcoming auctions, to see the items that people are bringing, or to add your own items to the auction.
All purchased items must be paid for at the end of the meeting. We accept cash/check/credit cards at checkout.
