Jimmy Barbee

Jimmy Barbee has only been in the aquarium hobby for a bit over a year after taking a 40 year break from his college dorm aquarium and two 10 gallon tanks in his childhood home that he filled with salamanders, crawdads, and minnows from the local creek to accompany the black mollies, red swordtails, and rarely seen kuhli loach. Multiple tank syndrome infected him and now he maintains over 40 tanks and tubs at his Mebane home. Currently building out a basement fish room, he prefers his collected natives and nano fish in general. His talk will focus on his very recent journey to developing a nearly automated system to breed Celestial Pearl Danio’s.
